I made it to Cinque Terre today and I really have to thank Dan Bones for the suggestion.
It was a looong way up, but it was totally worth it!
I really had no idea what to expect – I had looked on the wikipedia page but didn’t really read it. But I guess Cinque Terre is a large area of vineyards on the side of the mountain, and there are a couple tiny villages down the mountain, built onto the side of cliffs. I stopped in one and I can’t remember the name of it right now.
I was wondering why all my photos had a heavenly glow to them.
I just had a dirty lens.
The first night I was in Sardinia, I had some bread with my dinner. It was awful. That morning, I had eaten a warm, fresh baguette in Corsica. What a contrast!
I forgot that Italians don’t really make good bread, but their pasta is excellent.

I’ve been riding alot lately, river road, prospect park and Dave and I went to the beach, “Dave’s Tour of the Worst Roads in Brooklyn” It’s fun, but so nice to look at where you’re riding.It looks incredible.

I am really enjoying reading your posts. I love stories about helpful people like the ones who took you to the hospital. Cinque Terre is on my list of places to visit – I think I read about it a few years ago in Wine Spectator (or something). It looks amazing.

Remember when mom found a worm in her snickers bar? I don’t know if she found a full one or part of one….Either way she never bought a candy bar from that store again!
