Today we had a 10 mile time trial in Rock Creek Park in DC. This was the first time any of us had competed in a time trial. The route was beautiful on roads that wound through the park and were sometimes a little sketchy with hairpin turns and limited visibility of oncoming traffic.
I felt really great on the time trial and am so happy with how my bike is riding now. Bushwick bike shop really did an awesome tune up for me.
There were 21 crashes but none of the 5 women who raced went down!
I came in first and krista came in 3rd. We got these sweet glasses as prizes.
