I love my Brooks!

I bought a B-17 from Wallingford Bicycle Parts.

I’ve heard from people that Brooks Saddles are uncomfortable for the first few hundred miles, but I loved mine right away. It is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden and has now molded to me. I definitely recommend getting the Proofide to treat the leather.

I was too cheap to buy a saddle cover, but I probably should have. At night, when it would start raining, the last thing I wanted to do was leave my tent to put a plastic bag on the saddle to protect the leather. Even though it got wet sometimes, I don’t think it did any damage and the saddle is still in great shape and I ride with it every day.

I ordered from Wallingford because of their return policy. I wasn’t sure if I would like the Brooks, but they have a 6 month return policy on the saddles so I knew I could try it out. They shipped the saddle really quickly and were helpful on the phone.
